1. General information

§ Job summary: To look for, develop and incubate businesses targeting lower income groups in the developing world that support the company’s mission to provide social benefit in the developing world. To be a core member of a start-up team in Vietnam.
§ Reports to: Ground Business Vice President
§ Salary: Competitive

§ Travel: Moderate initially focused on Mekong Region and Singapore
2. Key roles and responsibilities
This position will be initially based out of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam and may later require extended periods of time in other areas of the developing world.
Working with a small team of diverse professionals focused on the Mekong Region, you will be searching for transformative opportunities to meet the needs of local customers in sectors such as education and healthcare. You will be part of a professional and hardworking team that will incubate a business.
· Liaise with business partners and service providers;
· Monitor, project manage and grow a startup business;
· Conducting research into sectors such as health and education;
· Supervise in-country consultancy, marketing and legal agencies;
· Build detailed financial models and business plans as required;
· Write business-grade reports;
· Act as an ambassador for the organization;
· Have an awareness of the Vietnamese business environment and understanding
about their culture;
· Work on the frontlines of human development is challenging. Our team members
thrive on uncertainty and life in the field.
3. Job requirements

Preferred;
· Minimum of 3 years work experience, ideally start-up experience in the
Development sector, business/financial background is preferred;
· Native-level English and fluent Vietnamese;
· Moderate initially focused on Mekong Region and Singapore.
